Dan WernerAssociate

Dan Werner joined Ortale Kelley in August 2024, bringing his passion for law, leadership, and teamwork to the firm.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University in 2019, where he not only excelled academically but also played football, building lasting relationships and honing his leadership skills.

After Harvard, Dan pursued his law degree at Belmont University College of Law, where he fully immersed himself in the legal community. As Vice President of the Legal Aid Society, he helped organize a golf tournament fundraiser that provided stipends to law students pursuing low-paying government or nonprofit internships. Dan’s dedication to helping others also emerged through his roles as a Student Ambassador and Peer Mentor, where he guided and supported his fellow students.

During his time in law school, Dan clerked with Rockridge Venture Law, where he reviewed contracts and assisted in litigation research. In the summer of 2023, he clerked at Ortale Kelley, where he worked closely with our Civil Defense team. Since officially joining the firm as an associate, he’s been actively contributing to various cases and projects, assisting with civil litigation, and augmenting the real estate team.

Outside the office, Dan loves staying active and can often be found dominating the pickleball court, playing Settlers of Catan or attending concerts of all genres.
