Elaine M. Youngblood

Ms. Youngblood is of counsel with the firm, having joined the firm in 1994.

Ms. Youngblood graduated from Wake Forest University and thereafter graduated from Albany Law School in Albany, New York.

Ms. Youngblood's area of practice is defense work, both in civil litigation in State and Federal court, as well as defense of worker's compensation cases. During her career she has handled a variety of cases dealing with tort litigation and worker's compensation litigation. Ms. Youngblood has extensive trial experience, both jury and non jury in cases involving premises liability, insurance, products liability, vehicular accident, and workers' compensation. She is a Fellow in ABOTA. Membership for this honorary organization requires trial both in State and Federal Court of more than 100 jury cases. Ms. Youngblood is also a Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America.

Ms. Youngblood is a member of the Nashville and the Tennessee Bar Association She is currently the Chair Person for the Fee Dispute Committee of the Nashville Bar and has served in that capacity for the last ten years. She is also a member of the State Bar Fee Dispute Committee and helped draft legislation relative to fee disputes. She is an Honorary Member and Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation.

Ms. Youngblood has been named to Who's Who both in the United States as well as Women of the World and Who's Who in American Business. She is past President of the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club in Nashville and has been involved it their charitable fund raising activities, including Christmas Village, which benefits the Bill Wilkerson Center. She has also been a Board Member of LAW and is on the auxiliary of the Nashville Opera League.
